Price was as quoted on Mechanic Buddy, which was good value for a major service. Customer service was excellent, they were kind enough to drop me off and pick me up to collect my car.

They diagnosed my car through info I supplied to this website and gave me a quote of R14k. I took it to them and they revised the quote to R23.5k which I expected. After paying, 2 days later the gave another one for R54k. I decided to take my car from them and they charged me R5.4k for labor and when I went to get it, after having told them, they told me to come back the following. I had to pay the tow truck twice.

The price for replacing the clutch in a Ford Fiesta was R5 800, compared to the R9 100 quote from the dealer. Polo Auto Air also offers a one-year warranty. They also picked up a sound while test-driving the car (something the dealer mechanics never did when they serviced the car a few days previously, because they never did a test drive). Polo Auto Air's Gary said they thought it might be a wheel bearing causing the noise, but phoned back as soon as they had the car on the lift to say that it was being caused by high spots in the tyres. They gave me the straight, honest story. They did the same two years ago when they sorted out my aircon on another vehicle. Two different dealers said it would cost about R13k to fix. Polo Auto Air regassed the system and then Gary replaced a rubber O ring. R742 and two years later, it's still going strong. Would definitely recommend them for any work you need on a car which is out of warranty. I'm going back...

Did the whole process via Mechanicbuddy. Everything went smooth! My car was services in time and they even assisted me with some last minute extras I wanted to have done on my car.
