"skimming of top gasket. The car was overheating due to faulty thermostat and water pump. It was taken in for repairs on the 16 December 2019 for head gasket replacement and replacement of water pump and thermostat. The mechanic confirmed that all was done on the 20th of December 2019 . I fetched the car on the 20th of December 2019 drove it to eastern Cape but as we were facing towards our destination the car overheated again despite it being fixed by French Auto Junction. I tried to contact the mechanic and he told me to buy a cylinder head sealant which I did . The car was acting much better after that but as the days went the car started to overheat loosing power with alot of smoke coming from the exhaust . When I checked the oil cap the had milky substance. I have now left the car in Eastern cape as it was not in a condition to reach Gauteng . I'm looking for qoutations to help fix the car . I will tow it from Eastern Cape but i need to know howmuch must i budget to get the car fixed."
